The speaker on 13 September will be our member Leonard Sterling, and his subject is "Man, Morals and
Communication". He explains that "It's an examination of our human gifts which promote and
support human interaction, furthering our success as social creatures." He recommends the precept of Alexander Pope who said "The proper study of Mankind is
Man." [in An Essay on Man 1734]
As usual the meeting is on the second Thursday in the month, at The White Rock Hotel from 7 to 9 pm.
